We are looking forward to the upcoming MC Invitational Sailing Regatta. Gull Lake Sailing School/ Gull Lake Yacht Club will be hosting this 2019 event for the Inland Lakes Yachting Association (ILYA). Our club has been a member of the ILYA since 1947 and we are the 104th MC fleet of 106 in the nation. This event has been recently hosted by Lake Harriet, Lake Beulah and Lake Nagawicka. Now, it is our turn to invite the fleet to our wonderful lake. Gull Lake has 15-17 MC Scows in our new fleet which entered the MC Scow Association in 2015. We have enjoyed Saturday racing with this fleet the past four summers and the Annual Fun Regatta in August is always a great test for our fleet.
In addition to the information/links above, here are two links of interest.

The dates of the event are Friday, July 19, Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, 2019.
THERE IS STILL TIME TO VOLUNTEER FOR THE EVENT
Any offer of help is fantastic. There are many tasks required before during and after the event. Special talents are welcome! Tasks on land and on the water include launching, parking, registration, meals, spectator boats, assisting Race Committee, scoring, housing, shuttling, safety boats, permits, awards, advertising, design, gear sales and donations. We are also seeking Media Moguls, Masters of D.J. Music, Grillmeisters, and Supreme Leaders of Fun. Gull Lake MC Sailors will be able to both assist with duties and compete in the regatta.
We hope you will consider sailing with us this summer and helping out GLSS/GLYC with this great event.
Please contact any of us if you have questions.
See you on the water!!!!
