1. Rules
1.1 This regatta will be governed by the rules as defined by The Racing Rules of Sailing 2017-2020
2. NOTICE TO COMPETITORS
2.1 A change to these sailing instructions will be posted on the Official Regatta Notice Board not later than 0900. Check the Notice Board before leaving the dock.
3. SIGNALS MADE AFLOAT
3.1 In accordance with RRS 89.2 (c), oral changes to the Sailing Instructions may be made on the water.
4. SCHEDULE OF RACES
4.1 Four to six races are planned for Saturday. Depending on the weather, more than one race may be started before the lunch break.
4.2 The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race on Saturday is 10:00AM
5. CLASSES AND CLASS FLAGS
5.1 More than one class may start together. The Starting Order will be discussed at the skippers meeting.
6. THE COURSE
6.1 The course will be posted. All marks are to be rounded to port.
6.2 The number of the course to be sailed will be posted at the prep for each class.
6.3 A gate may be used at the leeward end of the course.
6.4 An offset will be used at the windward end of the course.
7. MARKS
7.1 Marks will be red/pink buoys.
8. THE START
8.1 The starting line will be between a staff with a red/orange flag displayed on the R/C vessel at the starboard end of the start line and the pin end mark to the port side.
8.2 Each class will have a 3-minute sequence as listed below.
8.3 The warning signal for each succeeding class shall be made with the starting signal of the preceding class.
8.4 The same class flag will be used for all classes, namely the MC class flag.

9. RECALLS
9.1 As a courtesy, the Race Committee will attempt to hail boats On Course Side(OCS) by loud hail. A failure of R/C equipment or a failure to hear a hail will not be grounds for redress.
9.2 A general recall will be signaled with a First Substitute flag and a loud hail.
10. CHANGE OF COURSE AFTER START
10.1 In event of a significant wind change, a signal by a C Flag (Charlie) with a sound and a hail will be made.
11. THE FINISH
11.1 The finishing line will be between a staff displaying a red/orange flag on the R/C vessel accompanied with a nearby mark.
12. SCORING
12.1 The Low Point System will be used for a class when there are 3 or more boats in a class. One race shall constitute a series.
