2022 REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Go to our website www.brainerdlakesymca.org
- If you are a MEMBER or have been in PROGRAMS at the Brainerd YMCA click on Log In
- Click the "My Account" dropdown menu in the top right corner, then select "View Account".
- If you are a programs click on Sign Up
- Under choose your membership you may join the Brained Y or create an account as a Community Member for free
- Create your account and add family members
- Scroll to the bottom of the page if necessary to view additional members. Click "Add Member" to add a new member to your account.
- Select the age group of the individual you would like to add to the membership.
- On the following page, fill in personal and contact information of the new member. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
- When all required fields are complete, click the blue "Add Member" button in the bottom right corner.
- The new member can now be registered for programs.
What each Sailor Will Need
Weather Information
Sailing classes will happen in rain or shine. If instructors decide it is too dangerous to be on the water, they will hold classes on shore or inside. following items are required for the studentsʼ safety and enjoyment.
Every child should be able to tread water for at least 10 minutes with a life jacket and swim in a lake comfortably.
* Coast Guard approved, well-fitting, lifejacket
* Non-marring, waterproof footwear
* Lunch, snacks and a water bottle
* Change of clothes
* Towel
These items are suggested:
• Sunscreen
• Hat
• Appropriate sailing clothing, including an extra t-shirt and a wind breaker.
• Sweatpants, and/or sweatshirts (ON LAND USE ONLY) -- no jeans
