Support youth, sailing and lake life!

At Gull Lake Sailing School we’ve served youth sailors in the Brainerd Lakes Area since 1947.  In 2020 with the pandemic, we got creative for our annual summer fundraiser. It was so much fun the format and band are back for 2021! Only BIGGER!!

In a typical summer, we have 90 students attend our sailing school. We also host 75 students for boat safety classes. GLSS is also home of the Brainerd High School Sailing Team who compete statewide spring and fall.

New partnerships for 2021:
Brainerd Family YMCA
The National Loon Center
The Region Five Children's Museum
Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation.
Crow Wing and Cass County Historical Societies

Our goal this year is to raise funds to support our sailing programs and support new community programs. We are looking for individuals or businesses willing to sponsor our expanded mission. If you’re looking for a fun way to advertise your business to the Gull Lake community, this is it! We will be able to promote our sponsors in a variety of ways and events throughout the summer. With your participation, we are able to continue to have this beautiful facility available for youth and family recreation, nonprofit programming and of course sailing!

With so many events canceled last summer, we hope you’ll support us and join us in kicking off a much BIGGER, BETTER summer Saturday, June 29th for some Hot Fun on the Waterfront!
