2009 ILYA X Championship at Gull Lake Yacht Club
The Gull Lake Yacht Club (“GLYC”) is a private, volunteer run, non-profit organization located on the eastern shores of Gull Lake near Brainerd, Minnesota. The club, founded in 1947, has long been a hub of sailing and social activity on Gull Lake.

GLYC hosts a variety of social mixers and parties throughout the year. The separate non-profit Gull Lake Sailing School operates from the GLYC facilities with instructors who teach to all ages and a variety of skill levels. The club activities are planned for the diverse interests of our membership. We, of course, offer sailing events, but also golf, bridge, a family fun day and several other opportunities to socialize. The largest sailing event of the season is the 48th Annual Fun Regatta, which is scheduled for August 1-3, 2008 (Learn about 2007 regatta race results).
