Welcome to the Gull lake Yacht Club (GLYC) web page for the 2009 Inland Lakes Yachting Association (ILYA) Class X Championship. GLYC is honored to host the 2009 ILYA X Championship youth regatta on beautiful Gull Lake located in Brainerd, Minnesota. The +70 years of ILYA youth X boating history places this annual championship regatta at the highest levels of similar youth athletic events in the United States. Successful ILYA X sailors frequently go on to compete at the highest levels of international sailing. Over 100 competitive teams 16 years old and under participated in the championship regatta. GLYC roll out the red carpet to its guests and everyone had a great time.
The 2009 ILYA X Championship dates were July 22-25, 2009 and the theme for the regatta was iSail. Results for the race can be seen on the Results page, with the OFFICIAL Jr. Results (34 teams) on the top and a link is provided to view the OFFICIAL Sr. Results (66 teams), which is located lower on the page for all 7 races.

The month of July is peak season for Up North vacation land, and accommodations must be planned for well in advance.
