Wow! What a Great Day!
On behalf of the entire Board of Directors of Gull Lake Sailing School, we would like to thank everyone for making Hot Fun on the Waterfront such a fun day!
Starting with all of you who bought tickets, t-shirts and made donations! Even though we had to keep our visits short and distanced, we loved seeing you all and being together in some fashion. Thank you so much for supporting sailing and community on Gull Lake.
We offer a big thank you to our waterfront director, Josh Sullivan for all you do for GLSS. You and your instructor team not only have the club looking great, you are all doing a wonderful job providing a safe place for sailing and fun. Your service and assistance yesterday and everyday is greatly appreciated!
Matt Aamond, PJ Overvold, and Gather on 3 Catering at the Woods B Merri, you certainly exceeded expectations in the best of ways. Your meals were such a big hit and so creative. Your “make it happen, can do” attitudes are certainly helpful, especially in a pandemic! No one left this party hungry! Thank you!
It sure is wonderful having a professional event planner step up and volunteer to help take our crazy ideas and make them a safe reality! Kathy Bishop, you are a gem! Add COVID planning to your expertise!
We also want to thank Mary Grace Arndt, our new Board Secretary for all your assistance, especially with our marketing and communications.
To Chris Holmes, our newest board member, thank you very much for all you do for GLSS. We really appreciate you stepping in last minute to help emcee the event as well as all the time you put in assistant coaching the high school team and around the club.
