WHAT EACH SAILOR WILL NEED:
The following items are required for the students' safety and enjoyment.
• Coast Guard approved, well-fitting, lifejacket
• Non-marring, waterproof footwear
• Water bottle
• Sunscreen
• Hat
• Appropriate sailing clothing: swimsuit, t-shirt and windbreaker, if needed.
• Dry clothes for after lesson: shorts, t-shirt, sweatpants, and/or sweatshirt (ON LAND USE ONLY)
• No jeans
• Every person should be able to tread water for at least 10 minutes with a life jacket and swim in a lake
comfortably.

You are never to old to learn to sail!
Come join us on Gull Lake under the guidance of experienced instructors - to help you learn, about rigging, terminology, and beginning knowledge of sailing. Classes will progress from the basics to getting out on the water, expect to learn sail trim, proper tacking / gibing, control line use and capsize recovery. Four, 2 hour classes, depending upon group instructors may be flexible with time of sessions.
